Lies, lies, lies

Think I've blogged about this before but hey ho, here I go again. I HATE the internet sometimes, especially when looking for reviews. Trying to find reviews on Estate Agents is difficult. And when you strike gold with a site that has a lot of reviews (the reviewcentre no less) you can't believe them as there is a polar discrepancy on opinions.
So it is really up to word of mouth. Which means we are going to go for an agent that was trying to persuade us to sell when we are better off letting out, because a mate has used them and found them to be OK.
When did "OK" start being a good reason to use a service.
End of rant.

P.S. I seem also to have broken Tesco's online shopping as the site is now as buggy as Sainsbury's. I should become a defect tester.

If we find a place before end July, then I can let you know - we have a 2 bed bungalow in a lovely cul-de-sac.
I have to say the bit of Plumstead I live in is lovely, and our neighbours are very sweet so it's going to be sad to leave.
We are moving as my hubby got a job there. He's happy as he's Scottish.

Hi Anon,
I think we will probably end up with Harrison Ingram.
All estate agents seem to be a muchness I find.
I was asked about Plumstead before and there are some responses to that post that may interest you:

I am biaised but I think that the areas north of the common, heading towards Shooters' Hill are nicer than the ones around Plumstead High Street (heading towards Abbey Wood). However, I have friends who live in streets close to Plumstead High St who say it's fine.
Like most places around London you have to be careful at night etc but there are some lovely houses and people around here. It's also relatively to the rest of London, still affordable.
If you have children, you may want to consider where you move as from what I can tell, all the primaries are massively oversubscribed. :(
